About the role

Position: Senior Technician Generation Engineering X4. Position/Task Grade: T12. Area of specialization: To develop and implement optimised systems and processes for process information systems. Department: Nuclear Engineering. Business Unit: Nuclear Operating Unit. Location: Western Cape.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities
1. Perform non-destructive testing and understand the impact on plant processes.
2. Advise and guide engineering section in solving complex technical problems.
3. Address day to day technical issues.
4. Render technical advice/support.
5. Execute and evaluate the effectiveness of modifications.
6. Optimise fault finding methods.
7. Compile non-destructive testing paperwork and record it on an electronic surveillance system.
8. Attend to equipment and employee safety.

Requirements

Qualification(s)
National Diploma/National N Diploma in Engineering at NQF6 with 240 credits
