Position: Senior Engineer Prof Engineering. Position/Task Grade: P16. Area of specialization: To develop and support suitable technology strategies, processes, standards, specifications and designs. Department: Koeberg Licensing. Business Unit: Nuclear Operating Unit. Location: Western Cape Koeberg Power Station.

Responsibilities

• Key Responsibilities
• 1. Provide technical consulting, investigation and support services. to customers.
• 2. Liaise with different departmental groups within NOU and NNR Offices
• 3. Develop discipline specific philosophies, technical standards, procedures and work practices.
• 4. Provide input into discipline specific roadmaps.
• 5. Advise/Consolidate/Review/Submit Regulatory reports and correspondence.
• 6. Manage and conduct product, equipment, material, service development and technical change management.
• 7. Participate in national and international technical forums.
• 8. Contribute to development of engineers in specified disciplines.

Requirements

• Qualification(s)
• BSc/B Eng in Engineering at NQF8 with 480 credits
• Related Experience
• 4 years technical experience engineering related technologies
• Professional registration
• Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA) as a professional engineer
