About the role

Task Grade: EEE Areas of specialisation: Reporting to the Group Executive Group Capital Division, the General Manager Project Management will provide strategic leadership for the end-to-end management and delivery of mega projects throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring commissioned and commercially operable assets are delivered in accordance with the approved business case. Department: GCD Project Management. Business Unit: Group Executive- Group Capital.

Key Responsibilities
Position and direct the strategy for delivery of the capital investment project.
Direct the delivery of the construction management programme for the capital investment project.
Direct the financial performance for the optimisation of capital investment throughout the lifecycle of the project.
Position the project for strategic interfacing, negotiation, change and stakeholder management.
Position and direct the project risk management strategies to minimise the overall impact on the capital investment project.
Direct the Human Resource effort to achieve project objectives.
Direct reporting on delivery against project milestones to key stakeholders

Requirements

Qualification(s)
B Degree in Built Environment at NQF 7 level with 360 credits or,
B Tech in Built Environment at NQF 7 level with 360 credits or
Advanced Diploma in Built Environment at NQF 7 level with 360 credits
Related Experience
10 Years experience in construction management, engineering, or project management.
