About the role

The Department of Health (Limpopo) is hiring 2 Telecom Operator (Shifts) posts, based in George Masebe Hospital; Siloam Hospital. This is a permanent post, paying R201,093 a year. Responsibilities

• Receive and direct telephone calls.
• Make calls and keep records.
• Note down and transmit messages.
• Report faulty lines for repairs.

Requirements

• A National Senior Certificate/Grade 12/Matric or NQF level 4 as recognised by the South African Qualifications Authority [SAQA].
• Call Centre qualification will be an added advantage.
• Willingness to do after-hours work and be on call including shift work.
• Computer literacy including MS Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint, Literacy in virtual meeting platforms.
• Knowledge And Skills:
• Knowledge or understanding Batho Pele Principles
• Telephone etiquette
• Good communication, presentation, interpersonal relations and report writing skills
• Computer Literacy
