About the role

The Department of Health (Limpopo) is hiring 7 Driver /Messenger posts. This is a permanent post, paying R201,093 a year. Responsibilities

• Provide safe and punctual driving services to the department.
• Regular checking and follow up of the driver plans.
• Collect, deliver, pack and secure goods and services for the department.
• Transport officials and patients to different destinations.
• Deliver correspondence to government authorities/organisations and assist in processing various vehicle permits.
• Vehicle maintenance:
• Daily check of oil, water, brake fluid, cleaning of vehicle, battery and tyres properly and keep the official vehicles in clean condition, both inside and outside
• Ensure that the vehicle has an adequate fuel level at all times
• Ensure vehicles are serviced on time and schedule vehicle servicing time with Logistics Officer
• Ensure sound running of the vehicles assigned, report and arrange minor repairs where necessary
• Keep track of timely car license renewals
