About the role

The Department of Health (Limpopo) is hiring 4 EMS Station Manager Grade 3 (Shifts) posts, based in Matlala EMS; Dendron EMS; Zebediela EMS; Witpoort EMS. This is a permanent post, paying R413,199 a year. Responsibilities

• Management of EMS vehicles, equipment and staff at station level.
• Treat patients in accordance with relevant protocols.
• Maintain best clinical practices in accordance with quality standards.
• Abide by standing operational procedures.

Requirements

• Qualifications and Experience:
• A National Senior Certificate /Grade 12 /Matric
• Successful completion of the Immediate Life Support (ILS) that allows registration with the HPCSA as Ambulance Emergency Assistant (AEA)
• Three [3] years’ experience after registration with the HPCSA as an ILS
• Copies of qualifications and current registration with the HPCSA to be attached
• Willingness to do after-hours work and be on call including shift work
• Computer literacy including MS Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint, Literacy in virtual meeting platforms
• Valid driver’s license [C1/Code 10] with Professional Driving Permit for Passengers
• Knowledge and Skills:
• Knowledge of ILS protocols
• Understanding of EMS and its line of business
• Proven managerial and interpersonal skills
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of Pandic Finance Management Act
