The Department of Health (Limpopo) is hiring a Deputy Director-General: Tertiary, Specialised and Health Care Support Services, based in Provincial Office [Polokwane]. Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and strategic direction and policy in the branch.
• Manage the coordination of tertiary, specialised and health care support services.
• Manage the provision of forensic medical services.
• Manage the provision of specialised and private health services.
• Manage and utilise human resources in accordance with relevant directives and legislation.

Requirements

• Qualifications and Experience:
• A National Senior Certificate/Grade 12/Matric plus an appropriate recognized postgraduate health related degree or equivalent qualification at NQF level 8 as recognised by the South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA)
• Eight [8] years’ experience in Senior Management
• Proven experience of the health sector
• Good background in service delivery, turn-around and change management strategy
• Computer literacy including MS Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint, Literacy in virtual meeting platforms
• A valid driver's license, except for people with disabilities
