About the role

The Provincial Treasury (Gauteng) is hiring a Messenger/Driver in Office of the Chief Financial Officer, based in Johannesburg. This is a permanent post, paying R201,093 a year. Responsibilities

• To provide driving functions for Gauteng Provincial Treasury.
• Delivery and collection of items.
• Provision of shuttle services.
• Delivery and collection of vehicles.
• Delivery and collection of staff.
• General Administration function.
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections.

Requirements

• Grade 12 or equivalent appropriate qualification.
• 1- 2 years’ experience.
• Valid driver licence as well as a Professional Driving Permit (PDP).
• Basic Computer literacy, Knowledge of the procedures to operate the motor vehicle.
• Knowledge of prescripts for the correct utilization of motor vehicles.
• Knowledge of the procedures to ensure that the motor vehicle is maintained properly, Knowledge of the procedures to perform messenger functions, Sound interpersonal skills.
