The Provincial Treasury (Gauteng) is hiring a Director: Transversal Risk Management in Financial Governance, based in Johannesburg. This is a permanent post, paying R1,317,384 a year. Responsibilities

• To manage, promote and enforce Provincial Risk Management Services in Departments and delegated Municipalities.
• Manage the development of Provincial Norms and Standards.
• Provide technical guidance and capacity building to Departments and Municipalities.
• Monitor, evaluate and report on Risk Management implementation in Departments and Municipalities.
• Manage and communicate Audit findings.
• Manage the development and review of a Provincial Risk Register.
• Management of the Directorate.

Requirements

• A three-year tertiary qualification (NQF Level 7) in Risk Management/Auditing or Finance.
• 5 years’ experience in middle/senior management level in Risk Management.
• Public Service SMS Pre-entry Programme must be submitted prior to appointment.
• Valid driver’s license.
