About the role

The Department of Correctional Services is hiring a Clerk Stores: Transit, based in Kroonstad Training College. This is a permanent post, paying R237,453 a year. Responsibilities

• Safekeeping of items in transit.
• Bar coding of assets received.
• Acknowledgement of receipts and issue voucher register.
• Monitor movement and face value forms.
• Checking the stock received for quality and quantity.
• Management of assets.

Requirements

• Grade 12 or equivalent qualification.
• No experience required.
• Knowledge of LOGIS, LAP and related experience in a comparable environment will be an added advantage.
• Computer literate.
