About the role
The Department of Health and Wellness (Western Cape) is hiring a Staff Nurse Grade 1 to 3, based in Moorreesburg Clinic, Swartland Sub-district PHC. This is a permanent post, paying R229,440 a year. Upon appointment, incumbents will be expected to render clinical services across institutions in the Ecosystem, as needed to sustain.

Requirements
- Minimum educational qualification: Qualification that allows registration with the SANC as a Staff Nurse.
- Registration with a professional council: Registration with SANC as a Staff Nurse.
- Experience:
- Grade 1: None
- Grade 2: at least 10 years appropriate/recognizable experience in nursing after registration with the SANC as a Staff Nurse
- Grade 3: at least 20 years appropriate/recognizable experience in nursing after registration with the SANC as a Staff Nurse
- Inherent requirements of the job: Willingness to work overtime when necessary.
- Competencies (knowledge/skills):
- Good communication and interpersonal relationships
- Basic computer skills in MS Word, Excel, Outlook
- Knowledge of relevant legislation and policies of the Department of Health Western Cape
