About the role

The Department of Public Works, Roads and Transport (Mpumalanga) is hiring an Assistant Boiler, based in Nkangala District Witbank Hospital. This is a permanent post, paying R144,024 a year. Responsibilities

• Provide support to the operation of the boiler and maintain and adhere to safe working environment in accordance to the Occupational Health and safety Act.

Requirements

• National Senior Certificate/Grade 12 (NQF Level 4), National Steam certificate will be an added advantage.
• No experience required.
• Knowledge.
• Skills and Competencies:
• Knowledge of Occupational and Safety Act (OHS)
• Skillsplanning, organising, verbal and written communication skills
• Candidate must be willing to work overtime and be on standby
