Responsibilities

• Provide Animal Health services, Provide training and awareness programs (veterinary extension services) to communities with regard to Animal Health, Render a Veterinary Laboratory Diagnostic and Epidemiology Service, Render a Veterinary Public Health service, Render an animal disease surveillance service, Provide training and awareness programs (extension services) to communities with regards to VPH, Implement contingency plans and conduct risk assessments for the mitigation of outbreak of diseases, Perform all administrative and related functions.

Requirements

• NQF level 8 BVMch/BVSc as recognised by the South African Veterinary Council, Compulsory registration with the South African Veterinary Council (SAVC), at least 1 year post qualification experience, A valid (Code EB or higher) driving license.
